May 20-21

These past two days were good days. On Friday, I got up and went to seminary. We played go fish with prophet cards. In math, we went over 9-5 and had a quiz on 9-1 and 9-2. Then, in Chorus we went through all of the songs for our concert that is on next Tuesday. In third period, we went to the media center and worked on our book projects. In English, we had the Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde test and then went to the pep rally. Later, we had a after school rehearsal for chorus and I went home. Mom and I went to get Valery and had our driving lessons. Later, Mom and I went to Kohl's and I got a shirt, dress, shrug, and some black pants for the chorus concert. Mom and I watched the last two episodes of Smallville and went to bed. Today, I got up and went to help Alex with his eagle project at Jordan lake for a couple of hours. We planted plants and spread mulch there. Then, we came home and had some tuna patties and yummy fries for lunch. Then, I cleaned a fridge and took a nap. Mom and some of the kids went to the pool and I got on the computer for a while. I only have ten more days of school :)

Today was a good Thursday. I got up and went to seminary. Then, I went to math and we handed in our 9-1 worksheet and she graded it. We went over 9-3 and 9-4 and completed the 9-2 worksheet and handed it in. In chorus, we went over a few of our songs for the pop concert that is next Tuesday. It is my last concert at Apex High school. In Trends, we read and worked on out book projects. I got to read some more of my book The Hunger Games. At lunch, I hung out with Betsy, Katherine, and Michelle and we talked about Scotty and how awesome he was. I am so proud of him for being in the top two. Then, I went to English and we did a worksheet on the vocab words and reviewed the book for a while. Our test on the book Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde is tommorow. After, I came home and had something to eat and took a nap. I got up and Sarah and Brinson were over. He installed a very nice bookcase in the dining room. Today my mom is 47 and we had some very yummy key lime pie. Then, me and mom watched some CSI Miami and I did my homework and read in my scriptures. Hope everyone had a good day. Today was a great day for me. In the morning, I got up and went to seminary and we talked about the prophet Howard W. Hunter. He was the prophet right before Gordon B. Hinkley. In math, we went over 9-1 and most of 9-2 and did a few examples from the book. I am very happy because I got a 96 on the chapter eight test. Now, my grade is a 87 instead of a 76. Next was chorus and we went over the songs for our pop concert that is next week.In third period, we watched the rest of the movie Forest Gump and went to the media center to work on our book projects. Then, it was lunch and I hung out with Betsy and Katherine and had fun. It was kinda boring because Michelle went off campus. When she got back, she told me that she saw Eric and Scott there lol. In English, we got the vocab for the book Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde.After, we watched a video about the book and it was very interesting. I then came home and had some yummy dinner and took a nap. At mutual, we did a egg drop game and out the armor of God on the egg. It did not break and we got some candy for it. Lars came home with four fish lol they stink a bit. I did the vocab and watched some CSI Miami with mom. Tonight, I read in Heleman three and went to bed. Hope everyone had a good day. Only 12 more days of school :)

Today was an ok day for me. I got up and went to church. In class, we learned about time management and how you can be a dependable person. In my other class we learned about the three parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son. I am very glad that our regular teacher is back. After church, we had a presidency meeting and planned our activities for next month. Then, I came home and had something to eat and listened to music for a while. Dad then took me to BYC and that lasted for an hour and all the classes talked about their goals and upcoming activities. All of Emily's family was at church today and that made me very happy. I am very proud of my bffe for making the effort to help them come back. Sr.Smith then took me home and I ate some dinner and took a short nap. Me, Mara, Carmel, and Serenity went to a fireside about missionary work and it was very good. I really felt the spirit while I was there and have a strong testimony of the church. Then, I came home and did some homework and watched some CSI Miami with mom and went to bed. Only three more weeks of school and four till graduation!

These past two days have been very good for me. On Thursday, I got back two quizzes in math and they were both one hundreds. In Chorus, we tried out for solos and I did very good. Mrs.Copley made me feel odd though lol. Today I got up and went to school. In math, we went over the 8-7 worksheet and took on quiz on 8-5, 8-6, and 8-7. In chorus, we got new seats and went through all the songs for the concert coming up soon. For Trends, we had a reading day and read some in the Uptown magazine. I was glad to finish the book that I was reading called Flash Burnout. At lunch, I hung out with Betsy and Katherine because Michelle went off campus. Then, it was English and we talked about the Renaissance for a while. After, we went over a few main points in the book we are reading. We have a test on it on Tuesday. I got home, and Me, Mara, and Emily went to Chick-Fil-A and ate dinner there. Later, I got a nap and got on the computer for a while. Mom and I watched some CSI Miami and then went to bed. Today was a very good day for me. I got up and went to seminary. We talked about how the prophets were obedient to God and what their messages mean to us today. In math, we went over the 8-5 worksheet and I got all of them right. Then, we did 8-6 and worked on some practice problems and the worksheet. In Chorus, we went over all the songs for the pop concert that is in only two weeks. For Trends, a couple groups presented their poster projects on Life as We Knew it. Then, we watched some of the movie The Secret Life of Bees. At lunch, I hung out with Betsy, Katherine and Michelle for a while. Finally, it was fourth period and we read a essay that was by Mr. Bacon. Also we answered questions about chapters four and five of the book Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I came home and went to the Driver's Ed office in Fuquay-Varina with my mom to get my permit renewed. I took the vision and signs test again and passed. In the next few weeks, I will get my permit in the mail. Later, I took a nap and did my homework. Me and mom watched some CSI Miami and then went to bed. Only fifteen more days of High school left :)

Today was an ok day for me. I got up and went to seminary. We talked about David O McKay and how he established the concept of family home evening. In math, we took a quiz on 8-3 and 8-4 and worked on some makeup work for a while. Then, I went to chorus and we worked on all of our songs for the pop concert on the twenty fourth. For third period, we took the test on the book The Secret Life of Bees and finished the chapter summaries. I then went to lunch and hung out with Michelle, Katherine, and Betsy and had fun. For English, we read a love poem and summarized it. Then, we started a new book. I got home and took a long nap. Then, I ate dinner and went out to work in the garden. We had to put grass around the plants to protect them from the weeds. I then did my homework and read in my scriptures. Me and mom watched some Smallville and we went to bed. Only seventeen more days of school!

May 6-7, 2011

These past two days were very good and fun. On Friday, I got home from school and took a nice and long nap. Later, Michelle came over and we went shopping for my birthday party. We went to Party City, 5 Below, and also Dollar Tree. School was good and long as always. In Math, we worked on our makeup work and chapter eight and got some papers back. In chorus, the class sang happy birthday to me and we went over our songs for the pop concert. In Trends, people gave a summary of all the chapters of the book The Secret Life of Bees. In English, we read some love poems and we were assigned a poem to summarize. On Saturday, I got up and cleaned my room. I then took a break and watched some Wizards of Waverly Place. That is one of my fav TV shows. Later, I cleaned the bathroom and Michelle came over. We set up all the decorations and got set up for my party. Emily came over early to and helped us get ready. A little before the party, Alyssa came and dropped off a present for me and it was a $15 gift card to Target. I really miss her because she has been at college. At my party, we took pictures, jumped on the trampoline, ate, and played some games. I gave glow sticks out to everyone and they had fun playing with them. For presents I got a Jacob puzzle, New Moon game, JB stickers, Peace mood earrings, A wallet, Gift card to Barnes and Noble, A bracelet, Makeup and more earrings. My party was so much fun and I am thankful for all the friends that I have. Being an adult is fun!

Today was a very good day for me. I got up and went to seminary. We talked about the prophet Heber J. Grant. In math, we went over the 8-1 and the 8-2 worksheet and talked about how to do substitution and the steps to it. Then, I went to chorus and we went over the songs Hello Goodbye, My Heart Will Go On,the African song, and When You Believe from the movie Prince of Egypt. I really love the movie and I am glad that we are singing the song for the pop concert. In third period, we just read and went over the worksheet for the book The Secret Life of Bees. Then, I went to lunch and got to hangout with my friends Betsy and Katherine for a while. In English, we finished the Macbeth test and read a few love poems. I came home and had a nice and very refreshing nap. Later, we had a young women activity and we cooked camp food. Sr.Gibson brought us our milkshakes from Cookout and they were very yummy. Then, I came home and got on the computer for a while and did my math homework. Me and mom watched some Gilmore Girls and I read in my scriptures and went to bed. Only two days till my birthday.

Today was a great day for me. I missed seminary because the alarm never went off this morning. My mom does not believe it though lol. Then, I went to math and we went over the 8-1 worksheet and then talked about the section 8-2 and how to graph equations. I am very glad because I get how to do this stuff. I then went to chorus and we went over all our pop songs for the concert. Some people sang the solo for the song Hello Goodbye by the Beatles. In third period, we went over the beginning of the book The Secret Life of Bees and had the chance to read some. We also filled out a worksheet on themes that have been in the book. Then, I went to fourth period and we had a vocab quiz on the words from act two and three of the play Macbeth. I came home, and had some yummy Texas toast and a few Popsicles. Later, we all went out to the garden and planted some squash and some bean plants. After, we spread some grass around the plant's to prevent weeds.Later, me, Mara, and my mom went to Chick-Fil-A and we picked up a job application there. Then, I did some homework and read in my scriptures. Me and mom watched some TV and then went off to bed. Only four days till I am eighteen.

Today is the last day of April and I am very excited for May. My birthday is in only six days and I will be eighteen. This morning I got up and took a shower.Then, me, Mara, Carmel, and Serenity got dropped off at the church. We went to the strawberry patched and picked some for a while. Then, we went to Sr. Calderon's son in law's house and had a short spiritual message from the girls and Sr. Gibson. Some of them went on the zip line. We also tie dyed our t shirts for girl's camp and that was a lot of fun. Later, we came back and I had a nap for a while bacuase I was very tired. I got up and went outside and washed the car. Mara made rice and chicken with gravy for dinner. It was yummy except I had to pick out the mushrooms oh well haha. I really love when it is the weekend. Only five more weeks of school and I am free from school for a while. Next week is my birthday party and I am very excited for it. Hope everybody is having a good weekend.

Today was a good day for me. I got up and went to seminary and we played some church games there. Then, in math we went over the chapter seven test and talked about eating healthy. In chorus, we went over and sung the pop songs for our concert. We started a new song called Hello and Goodbye by the Beatles and it is very good. In third period, more people presented their book projects and we read more of the book The Secret Life of Bees. Then, in fourth period Mrs.Nordt told the clock story and we had some yummy coconut vanilla cake that she got from the bakery. I walked home with Valery and we had driving lessons. It was all good except for one of my turns that was just a little sketchy. Later, Valery and her mom brought over dinner for us. It was mac and cheese, potatoes, beans and rice, and chicken. It was very yummy and her mom is a very good cook. I am very glad that it is the finally the weekend. Then, I read my scriptures and watched some Criminal Minds with my mom. Seven days till my birthday :D

Today was a pretty good day. I missed seminary this morning sad to say lol. I went to math and we finished going over chapter eight section one and worked on the worksheet. Then, in chorus we went to see a opera singer and she was very good. Then, I went to third period and some people presented their book projects and we read more of the book The Secret Life of Bees. In English, we went over act two and three of Macbeth and we have the vocab quiz tommorow and the Macbeth test on Monday. I came home and had a nice, long nap. Later, me, Mara, and Carmel went to the Apex High talent show. It was very good and I really loved it. Then, we came home and I got on Facebook and did my math homework and read my scriptures. Today was a good day and I got up and went to seminary. We were a little late because my mom woke me up a little late. Then, I went to math and we finished the are you ready for chapter eight. We also went over some of section one of chapter eight. In chorus, we went over the pop songs and started a new African piece. Then, I went to third period and we had time to read and catchup in the book The Secret Life of Bees. There are way to many bad words in the book so far. Then, I went to lunch and hung out with Katherine. Michelle went off campus and Betsy was at the special needs Olympics. In English, we had a review of act one of the play Macbeth. I came home and had a snack and went to take a nap. For young women, we went to the Ramsey's and pulled weeds and helped plant fruit and veggies there. I came home and listened to music for a while and worked on the act three questions for the play Macbeth and read in my scriptures. Me and mom then watched some Criminal Minds and went to bed. Only nine days till my birthday!

Today I got up and went to seminary. In class, we talked about the prophets and what they did to help organize our church. In math today, we worked on finishing the are you ready for chapter eight and I finished it. Then, I went to chorus and we worked on our songs called Double Trouble, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, and My Heart Will Go On. In third period, we just went to the media center and read The Secret Life of Bees for the whole period. For English today, we had a review on the vocab and answered some questions about Act one of the play Macbeth with a partner. I came home, and me and Valery had our driving lesson and it went very well. Later, I took a nap and worked on the Act two questions for Macbeth and watched some of season two disc two of the show Criminal Minds. I turn eighteen next Friday and I am very excited. Today was a pretty good day for me. I missed seminary this morning because I was really tired lol. In math, we just worked on the are you ready for chapter 8 and we are finishing it tommorow. For the slope problems, I was the only one in the class who got all of them right and I was happy about that. Then I went to chorus and we worked on new songs for our pop concert that is on May 24th. Then, it was third period and we read in the Uptown magazine and talked about the stories in it. It was nice to catch up at lunch with my friends Betsy and Katherine and to hear how their spring break was.Then, I went to fourth period and we got a list of twenty six vocab words and our quiz is on Friday. We also read some of act five of the play Macbeth. I came home and ate and then took a nice nap. Me and my dad went and mowed a lawn and I earned a total of twenty nine dollars from it. I now have a savings of ninety four dollars woo hoo. There is only six weeks of school left and I am very glad. Hope everyone had a great spring break!

April 16-24

I had a really good spring break in Maryland with Michelle and her Aunt. On Saturday, her family came and picked me up. We meet her aunt in Virginia at the Cracker Barrel and me, Michelle, and her aunt ate lunch there. We then drove to her Uncle's house and got there at about six. He took us to dinner at a restraunt called Kay's that was near the airport. That was not a very good day for me because there was a very big storm that lasted a couple hours. Then, we drove back to his house and just chilled and watched TV and went to bed. On Sunday, we got up and had some breakfast and headed toward the beach. We all walked along the shore and took pictures there. After, we went to Maria's and had dinner there. For desert, we went to as ice cream place called MR. Whippy's that was down the street and then went back to her Uncle's house and packed up our things and drove to her aunts house. On Monday and Tuesday, me and Michelle just chilled at the house because her aunt had to work. On Tuesday night, we walked to Aspen Hill and went to the library and picked up some Chinese food for dinner. Wednesday, we went to Gettysburg and shopped at the visitor center gift shop and took pictures next to the Abraham Lincoln statue. After, we went to downtown Gettysburg and looked around the shops there and that was lots of fun. Thursday, we got on the Metro and went to Washington DC for the day and went on the tour mobile and walked around and took some pictures there. Then, it was Friday, and we went back to Washington DC and rode some more on the tour mobile and went to the Origins museum and the Holocaust museum. On Saturday, we went to get our nails done and me and Michelle looked around in 5 Below for a while. Throughout the week, I got to eat at Popeye's, Outback, I HOP, and lots of other great places..I read a very good Love Inspired book and we watched some good movies. I had a great spring break with Michelle and her family.

Today was a good but long day for me. First of all, I did not wake up for seminary and I missed it ugh.In math, we just worked on our chapter seven assessment. Mrs. Whitehurst gave us the option of taking the test tommorow or when we get back from spring break.In chorus, we went over a few of the songs and then just talked and gave each other massages. During third period, we took a test on the book Life as We Knew It and then worked on our book projects. At lunch, I had fun talking to Betsy, Michelle, and Katherine. Today I was in fourth period for only twenty minutes and then had to go to record our songs. After, we went home for a couple of hours to rest and eat. We came back at 6:30 and sat in our seats and not long after the concert began. It went very well and Mrs.Copley is very proud of us for our hard work. The senior song was great and some of the girls were crying. I am really going to miss chorus and all my friends at Apex High School when I graduate in June.Tommorow is the last day of school before spring break and I am soo excited about having a long break from school. Noon on Saturday is my departure from the good old North Carolina to Maryland. Hope everyone had a good day.

Today was a good day for me. I got up and went to seminary and we talked more about the pioneers and watched a video about two eighteen year old boys that saved a lot of people. Then, I went to math and we had a quiz on 7-5 and 7-6 and I did very bad on it. In chorus, we went over our spots for the concert. In third period, we went over some concepts of the book Life As We Knew It, and after just talked with our friends. Tommorow, we have a test on the book. At lunch, I hung out with my friends Betsy and Katherine. For English, we started act three of Macbeth. I came home and took a nice and refreshing nap. After, I went to the temple and did some conformations and baptisms for the dead. Tommorow is our chorus concert and I am just ready to get it over with lol. Saturday morning, I leave for Maryland with Michelle and will be there the whole spring break. I am so excited and glad to spend a lot of time with my best friend. There is only 23 days till my birthday and I will finally be 18..woo hooo :O

This week has been good but very long so far. Today, I got up and went to seminary. Our lesson was on the pioneers and the hardships that they had to go through when crossing the plains. Then, I went to math and we went over the 7-5 and the 7-6 ws. Tommorow, we have a quiz on the two sections and a test Friday on chapter 7. Today, I drove with Valery and it went very well. I got to drive to Kroger later with my mom to get her medicine. In chorus today, we went over all the songs that we are singing at our concert on Thursday. During third period, we took a easy vocab quiz, and went to the library to work on our book projects. In fourth period, we read act four of Macbeth and talked about it. For the last few minutes, we watched some of the movie. After driving, I cleaned all the drawers from the fridge and I am finishing the rest tommorow. I will get fifteen dollars for it and my new balance will be $70.20..I am glad to be saving my money for once lol.I cannot wait till spring break with Michelle :)

Today was a pretty good day. I got up and went to church. Sr.Bleake gave us a lesson on how people sometimes think that they are a nobody and that no one likes them. Sometimes, I feel that way but I have been trying not to. Then, I went to my Sunday school class and my dad taught the lesson. It was about the good samaritin. Later, I went to BYC and I was in charge of conducting the meeting. We talked about all of our upcoming activities. I then came home and had some yummy tacos for lunch and went to take a nap. My mom woke me up and we went to Jesse's going away party. In a few days, she is leaving to Oklahoma to go on a mission for a year and a half. I am going to miss her very much. There is only six days till spring break and I am so glad. Me and Michelle are going to have a great time in Maryland. On Wednesday, I am cleaning a fridge for my dad and will get ten dollars from that. He is gone in Atlanta till Wednesday night on business. I will have a balance of $66.60 after that and I am proud of myself for saving up my money. There is only forty days of school left and I cannot wait to be finally done with high school once and for all. I have lost eight pounds in the past week and thats made me very pleased with myself.

Today was the ward picnic and it was very fun. Last night I spent the night at Emily's house and we watched The Kid's Choice Awards and House of Anubis. Later me and Emily went to the scripture mastery games and one was so much fun. You would put a cookie on your forehead and you had to try and get it in your mouth without using your hands. Then, I went to the church dance and got to see all my good friends there. The DJ was really cool and he played four Justin Bieber's songs. I am going to be eighteen in twenty seven days and I cannot believe it lol. There is only two months left till I graduate and I am very excited. Driving has been going well with Valery and I cannot wait to get my license. I have a feeling that my birthday party is going to be very great. Hope everyone had a good day.

Carmel turned the old age of 14 today and it is hard to believe.Today in seminary, we worked on our games for the scripture mastery games on Saturday. I then went to Math and we worked on dilations and finished our 7-4 quiz corrections. In chorus today, we ran through our concert songs and had a lot of fun. Then it was Trends and Movements of Young Adult Lit. time and we went outside for a reading day. In English today, we took a survey about teens and their risky behaviors. On April 14, is our spring chorus concert and I am very excited about it. For my 18th birthday party, I am going to have a Justin Bieber themed party at Apex park. I have been doing pretty well in school and cannot wait to be finally finished. Next January, I plan to go to Wake Tech for two years, and then transfer to BYU-Idaho for the remaining two years of college. My plan is to get a major in music or something to do with design. Tommorow, I have my driving lesson with Valery and she is going to drive first. My brother Myles is coming home later tonight and I cannot wait to see him. He has been gone since the first of January at college. I have lost of total of 6.8 pounds in the last week and that makes me very glad. Well, not much happend today. See u tommorow :)

Today in Tech Math 2 I got back two quizzes and I got a 93 and a 100. Now, if you know me very well, this does not happen very often. I graduate high school on June 12th and I am very excited about it. This weekend I am going to watch the Kid's Choice Awards with my best friend Emily Smailes. About two or three times a week I have driving lessons with my friend Valery Calderon. It is going very well so far and I am glad. I am looking forward to spring break next week because I am going to Maryland with my friend Michelle Dube. Right now, I have a C in Tech Math 2, a C in Chorus, a A in Trends of Young Adult Lit, and a B in English 4. Tommorow in homeroom, we get our report cards. My brother Myles is getting here tommorow night and I am very excited. He has been at Byu-Idaho completing his first semester. He will stay here for a whole ten days. For the past few weeks, I have been saving up my money for a concert later this year and now I have a total of $57.60 so far. Well goodnight and I will post tommorow.
